Photo Id
Acceptable forms of photo ID include Drivers License, Passport, or Government issued ID. Please provide a good quality image of your photo ID later in the application.

Guarantor
What: A guarantor is someone who signs the lease with you, and agrees to be financially responsible.
Why: This is required any time the resident does not have a job with sufficient income to afford the apartment on their own. Most students require a guarantor.
How: Please talk to them in advance so they aren’t surprised when we contact them. Then to enter your guarantor’s contact info on the application.
Proof of Enrollment
Students from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst College, Hampshire College, Smith College, and Mount Holyoke College are all welcome. Please download your proof of enrollment letter to be attached later in the application process.

Log into your Spire Account
Click Academics (top middle option)
On the left side of the screen, click Forms & Academic Requests
On the left side of the screen, click Enrollment Verification
Click the dropdown for View Unofficial Report

Go to https://secure.studentclearinghouse.org/vs/Index
Select Current Enrollment/Dates of Attendance
Enter School Name
Fill out Name, Aliases, and DOB of Student
Click on next page and follow the instructions
Hampshire College
Go to Hampshire College main page
Go on menu & select offices
Go to Central Records (Registrar)
Scroll down & Click on Enrollment and Degree Verification
Follow instructions for Enrollment Verification
Fill out enrollment verification request form (download form here) and bring to the registrar’s office.

Login to my.mountholyoke.edu
Go to Student Portal and click on request enrollment verification. This should be found under transcript requests.

Transferring to one of the Five Colleges, Starting a Graduate Program or Fellowship?
Proof of Enrollment can be a letter from the Program Director or a Professor indicating you are enrolled in the Program or College/University and the date the program begins and the anticipated completion date.
